Cookies are information that is transferred from our web server or third-party web servers to the user's web browser and stored there for later retrieval. Users are informed about the use of cookies in the context of pseudonymous reach measurement in this data protection declaration.
The legal basis for this is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter f of GDPR.
This website can also be viewed without cookies. 6. Contact
Contact form and email contact
If you send us inquiries via the contact form or by email, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, or from your email, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
The data entered in the contact form is therefore processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR), which you give before sending the contact form. 7. Individual services
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookies about your use of the website, such as
-
Browser type/version,
-
operating system used,
-
Referrer URL (the previously visited page),
-
Hostname of the accessing computer (IP address),
-
Time of server request
are usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our website by users, to compile reports on the activities within this website and to provide us with other services related to the use of this website and the Internet. Pseudonymous user profiles can be created from the processed data.
Our legitimate interest in data processing also lies in these purposes. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Section 15 Paragraph 3 of the Telemedia Act and Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f of GDPR. The data we send and which is linked to cookies, user IDs (e.g. user ID) or advertising IDs is automatically deleted after 14 months. Data whose retention period has been reached is automatically deleted once a month.
We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that the user's IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
The IP address transmitted by the user's browser will not be merged with other data from Google. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly; users can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to their use of the website and from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de .
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set that prevents the future collection of your data when you visit this website: Deactivate Google Analytics
For more information about Google’s use of data for advertising purposes, settings and objection options, please visit Google’s websites: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners (“Google’s use of data when you use our partners’ websites or apps”), http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads (“Use of data for advertising purposes”), http://www.google.de/settings/ads (“Manage information Google uses to show you ads”) and http://www.google.com/ads/preferences (“Determine which ads Google shows you”).
Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager is a solution that allows us to manage so-called website tags via an interface (and thus integrate Google Analytics and other Google marketing services into our online offering, for example). The Tag Manager itself (which implements the tags) does not process any personal data of users. With regard to the processing of users' personal data, reference is made to the following information on Google services. Usage guidelines: https://www.google.com/intl/de/tagmanager/use-policy.html .
GA Audiences
This website uses GA Audiences, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”), to collect and store data from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. This technology enables users who have already visited our websites and online services to see targeted advertising from us on other external sites in the Google Partner Network. For this purpose, a cookie is placed on your computer which analyzes user behavior when visiting the website and can then be used for targeted product recommendations and interest-based advertising. If you do not wish to receive interest-based advertising, you can deactivate Google’s use of cookies for these purposes by following the instructions at https://www.google.de/settings/ads/onweb#display_optout .
Before corresponding cookies are placed on our homepage, we will ask you for your consent via our cookie banner. The legal basis for the processing is therefore your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter a of GDPR.
DoubleClick
This website uses “DoubleClick”, an online marketing tool from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as “Google”). DoubleClick uses cookies to show you advertisements that are relevant to you. A pseudonymous identification number (ID) is assigned to your browser in order to check which advertisements have been displayed in your browser and which advertisements have been viewed. The cookies do not contain any personal information.
The use of DoubleClick cookies only allows Google and its partner websites to display ads based on previous visits to our or other websites on the Internet. The information generated by the cookies is transferred by Google to a server in the USA for evaluation and stored there. Google only transfers data to third parties due to legal regulations or as part of order data processing. Under no circumstances will Google combine your data with other data collected by Google.
Before corresponding cookies are placed on our homepage, we will ask you for your consent via our cookie banner. The legal basis for the processing is therefore your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter a of GDPR.
You can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookies and relating to your use of the website and from processing this data by Google. Further information can be found at https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/
Google Ads
Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you came to our website via an ad placed by Google, Google Ads will place a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is placed when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked across the websites of Ads customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.
If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can refuse the setting of a cookie required for this purpose - for example, by using a browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies or by setting your browser so that cookies from the domain "googleleadservices.com" are blocked.
Please note that you must not delete the opt-out cookies as long as you do not want measurement data to be recorded. If you have deleted all your cookies in your browser, you must set the respective opt-out cookie again.
Meta Pixel
Within our online offering we use the “Meta Pixel” service of the following provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Quare, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Meta”).
If a user clicks on an ad we have placed on Facebook and/or Instagram, a parameter is added to the URL of our linked page using "Meta Pixel". This URL parameter is then entered into the user's browser after forwarding via a cookie that our linked page itself sets.
This enables Meta to determine the visitors to our online offering as a target group for the display of advertisements (so-called "ads"). Accordingly, we use the service to only display the Facebook and/or Instagram ads placed by us to users who have also shown an interest in our online offering or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined based on the websites visited) which we transmit to Meta (so-called "custom audiences").
On the other hand, the “meta pixel” can be used to track whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on an advertisement and which actions they performed there (so-called “conversion tracking”).
The data collected is anonymous to us and does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of the user. However, the data is stored and processed by Meta so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Meta can use the data for its own advertising purposes.
All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a of GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.
The information generated by Meta is usually transferred to a Meta server and stored there; in this context, it may also be transferred to Meta Platforms Inc. servers in the USA.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European data protection level on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
Integration of Facebook
Our website includes social media plugins (“plugins”) from the social network Facebook Inc., 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). You can recognize these by the Facebook logo or the “Like button” on the website. When you visit our website, Facebook receives information that you have visited the website using your IP address. If you click on the Facebook “Like button” on the website while you are logged into your Facebook account at the same time, the content of the website will be linked to your Facebook profile. As a result, Facebook can assign your visit to the website to your user account. The data is passed on regardless of whether you have a Facebook account or not. don't tipp points out that as the website provider, it has no influence on the data collected and data processing procedures, nor is don't tipp aware of the full extent of the data collection, the purposes of the processing or the storage periods. Facebook saves the data collected about you as usage profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or needs-based design of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular to inform other Facebook users about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these usage profiles, but you must contact Facebook to exercise this right. don't tipp offers you the opportunity to interact with the social network and other users via the Facebook plug-in, so that don't tipp can improve its offering and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of the Facebook plug-in is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter f) of GDPR. We recommend that you log out regularly after using Facebook, in particular to avoid the assignment of your surfing behavior to your profile as described above. Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by Facebook can be found in Facebook's privacy policy at the following link: http://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php .
Use of Instagram
Our site includes functions of the Instagram service provided by Instagram Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA (“Instagram”). You can recognize these by the colorful logo. If you are logged into your Instagram account, you can assign don't tipp content to your user account by linking or hashtagging it. don't tipp therefore receives information and evaluations from Instagram about your usage behavior on Instagram. don't tipp uses this information to improve its offering. don't tipp has no influence on the data transfer and use of your data by Instagram and refers to http://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/ for further information regarding Instagram's privacy policy. Instagram stores the data collected about you as usage profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or needs-based design of its website. Integration of YouTube services
In our website we have included YouTube videos from the company YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, which are stored on http://www.youtube.com and can be played directly from our website. By visiting our website, YouTube receives the information that you have accessed a subpage of our website. YouTube stores the data collected about you as usage profiles and uses these for the purposes of market research, advertising and/or needs-based design of its website. The data is transmitted regardless of whether YouTube provides a user profile through which you are logged in or whether there is no user account. If you have a YouTube user account and do not wish to be assigned to your profile, you must log out before activating the YouTube button. Your usage profile is evaluated even for users who are not logged in, in particular to provide needs-based advertising and to inform other YouTube users about your activities on our website. Don't tipp has no influence on the data transfer and use of your data by YouTube and refers to the following link for further information regarding YouTube's privacy policy: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/ .
8. Integration of third-party services and content
It may happen that content or services from third-party providers, such as city maps or fonts from other websites, are integrated into our online offering. The integration of content from third-party providers always requires that the third-party providers perceive the IP address of the user, since without the IP address they would not be able to send the content to the user's browser. The IP address is therefore required to display this content. Furthermore, the providers of the third-party content can set their own cookies and process the user's data for their own purposes. User profiles can be created from the processed data. We will use this content as economically and data-avoidingly as possible and select reliable third-party providers with regard to data security.
The following presentation provides an overview of third-party providers and their content, along with links to their privacy policies, which contain further information on the processing of data and, in some cases already mentioned here, options for objection (so-called opt-out):
-
External fonts from Google, Inc., google.com/fonts ("Google Fonts"). The Google Fonts are integrated by calling a server at Google (usually in the USA). Data protection declaration: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/
9. User rights and deletion of data
Users have the right to receive, upon request and free of charge, information about the personal data we have stored about them.
In addition, users have the right to correct inaccurate data, revoke consent, block and delete their personal data, and the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in the event of suspected unlawful data processing.
The data stored by us will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for its intended purpose and there are no statutory retention periods that prevent deletion.
10. Changes to the Privacy Policy
The privacy policy can be saved or printed out at any time. However, we reserve the right to adapt the privacy policy at any time in compliance with data protection regulations in order to do justice to the continuous development of the website.
